If you’ve already read my last blog then you’ll know I am absolutely daft for brunch! It’s 100% become my favourite meal since moving to Glasgow. You can roll out of bed in the afternoon on a Saturday/Sunday, usually feeling a wee bit tender from the night before, and rock up to so many eateries in the city for some good brunch munch. But where to go when there are so many choices?
Whether you’re for eggs, crepes, or chicken and waffles, there’s something on this bad ass brunch list for everyone.
Nic’s NYC Deli – Byres Road
If you’ve got a sweet tooth like I do, you’re going to luuuurve Nic’s NYC Deli. You’ll definitely get your sugar fix from their delicious crepes.

Browns – George Square
Feeling fancy? If you’re in the city centre then Browns is the place to go. I’ve only ever had the eggs benedict there so I can’t speak for their overall portion sizes but you definitely get more substance than size. That being said it’s a beautiful brunch location and it’s perfect for a special occasion.

Bucks Bar – West Regent Street
Not your traditional Glasgow brunch but let me tell you, you need to embrace this american classic! I’ve had Bucks Bar on my radar for a while and in particular I’ve been wanting to try chicken and waffles. They do a killer Sunday Waffle Brunch and I’ll definitely be back to try another one of the six varieties that they have on offer. Only thng I would say is that if you like a Bloody Mary, make sure you ask if they have any celery because sometimes they don’t have any but might not say (just saying if you want your Bloody Mary done right!).

The Hyndland Fox – Clarence Drive
In my opinion I’ve saved the best for last. I love everything about brunching at the Hyndland Fox. Eggs Benedict is my go to plate of choice and no one does this dish they way they do (though as you can see from my previous blog post I’m prepared to change my mind!). Not only is the food phenomenal, the restaurant and its staff make The Hyndland Fox the full package for an enjoyable experience.
