My top 3 Glasgow brunch spots of 2018

The other night I sat with two of my best friends drinking copious amounts of Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb & Ginger Liqeuer and catching up on the year’s happenings and mishappenings. I’ll be honest, at first, I couldn’t think of anything that I had significantly enjoyed about the last 12 months. It wasn’t that it’s been a particularly bad year, but it also didn’t seem clear to me how it had been anything other than a ‘meh’ year. I totally get that not every year can be amazing, but I’m just not the kind of person who is happy with another consistent year.

My friend Tinson had a great idea that she herself does every year (inspo originating from Mama Tinson). You write down the things you enjoyed about 2018, the things you didn’t, the things you need to do in 2019 and the things you want to do. We drank some moreĀ and wrote our lists. To my surprise, I found that even though a lot of bad things had happened, the things I enjoyed actually outweighed all the negatives. Of all the good things there were two that I enjoyed that stood out “launched my food blog” and “all the brunch!”.

So as I continue to reflect on 2018, I want to do a series of posts highlighting the restaurants and meals I’ve enjoyed the most. Starting with my favorite meal time of all; brunch.

Below is an infographic of my top 3 Glasgow brunch spots of the year. It was a tough call but I think I’ve narrowed it down to the best of the best.
